QFP Accreditation awarded to Aspray’s Richard Loasby.
The British Franchise Association (bfa) recently held its 2018 conference.
The bfa is well known for promoting and accrediting excellence in franchising.
According to the bfa, franchising is now a flourishing industry in good health and the universally respected bfa /Natwest survey shows strong growth for both short and long-term growth trends.
The bfa was created in 1977 as the voice of ethical franchising in the UK. To be a member, all franchisors and professional advisors to the industry must become accredited. Tested against extensive and strict criteria, only a pass will allow a professional to become part of the association.
Over the years, accreditation with the bfa has become the demanded, high industry standard and at this year’s conference our Head of Legal & Compliance, Richard Loasby, was presented with his Qualified Franchise Professional certificate (QFP).
The qualification is a formal recognition of professionalism, experience and knowledge in franchising.
Richard joins an elite group of ONLY 150 franchise professionals who have attained QFP status.
Why is this a huge deal? Whilst there are more than 900 franchisors in the UK, most do not hold QFP accreditation within their companies. Furthermore, of the 150 in the group, some provide consultancy services, choosing to advise franchisors or potential franchisors how to run their business.
Richard’s achievement confirms that Aspray is a franchisor who leads the way. Considerable investment in training ensures Aspray employees are highly skilled – keeping the company at the forefront of their sector.
